On my PC, this exe has the annoying side-effect of spinning-up the hard disk every 10-15 seconds. I checked this by stopping the task and then finally removing My Display (from HP), which seemed to install it.

poorly written service, part of the Magictune utility. Consumes CPU resources every second or so, uninstall forteManager unless u use some of its options for your LCD display..

Should be a program for HP LCD for rotation of the display, check its location.

It's associated with Macrovision -put on high quality displays. I consider it spyware. Search that file with Macrovision. LCDs you with a HD camera video a movie off your LCD display they will be able to track it back to you if you registered your display for warranty. Not noticable by the naked eye.

Came with my external HP monitor (My Dislay software). Question for "one of the developers who wrote it"- Why not have author/owner/version show up in the properties tabs? My security software flags it, partially because it seems anonymous.

I have an HP LP2065 Display that came with software called the HP Display Assistant. The file can be found at C:\Program Files\Portrait Displays\HP Display Assistant\DTSRVC.EXE.

Wie bereits gesagt, das ist der Treiber von Samsung Monitoren. Mein Samsung 193P benötigt die Datei zur Farbkalibrierung, da er über keinerlei Hardwaretasten verfügt.
