Ist total nervig! bei jeden Start wird mir eine Fehlermeldung von epmworker.exe angezeigt! Ich habe mein sony ericsson k800i schon länger aber die Fehlrmeldung taucht erst seit kurzer Zeit auf. Voll nervig! Aber ich denke mal ungefährlich.

From what I've seen, it seems to remove focus from whatever you're working on, Very annoying for when typing out long documents! As soon as I stopped it my focus stayed so my advice is to go onto task manager and stop the process.

Got the sony ericsson k790i, and epmworker.exe running in the taskmanager, it lacks my system, although I got a 3.0 P4 CPU, 4x512 megabyte pc3200 Dual-ch. 2x74 Gigs WD Raptor (Raid0), and Asus 9800XT AGP card, it lacks my com, badly!

It makes an active window not active for 2-3 seconds, every 10 seconds. On my pc it is impossible to type anything, while this process is working, because when the window is inactive for few seconds, it doesn't accept letters you type. After killing this process, everything is working properly, but I can't synchronize my SonyEricsson phone with my pc anymore. I'm using WinXP and other ORIGINAL software.

SonyEricsson uses it to detect a phone connection via USB. The file is constantly using up a percentage of your CPU and can cause lags. Remove the file from startup if so and start the software manually.
