Got serious performance & outlook/explorer stability problem. I found here the advice to stop it in task manager, which I did. Suddenly all the problems dissapeared. Thanks for the help!

I got it with LifeView TVR. It was a real pain to have to keep going to task menu to disable it. I used windows search, found it in windows and deleted it. no problem after that. no more eating up 100% of my cpu. who needs a remote for their computer? LOL

remove if you do not want to keep useing task manager to stop process running every time you start up your computer and haveup to 99% of cpu used by this file. DELETE

Non Microsoft. Non essential. Shisp as part of the TV card Remote control service, of a number of manufactures. Commonly TVR/Fly TV/ Anamation Electronics products. And other Brands. Common bug symptom: Task Manager resourses indicates lvhidsvc.exe is taking 80-100% CPU. Preventing loading of other processes on the start up. Freezing and slowing pc and causing some common sys tray icon to be left off the start up process (less common). CURE:For XP/98. START/RUN. Id recantly updated my Life view fly TV prime 30 TV card with a new driver so I just rolled back the driver it was causing problems now its fine.

It takes up 99% of my CPU and slows everything down - I'm using Win XP. Each time I boot my m/c I disable the programme without any problems.

I use it with a Lifevideo 3000 and gives me no problem, CPU usage is almost 0% (I have the newest version) remote doesn´t work if you disable it.

Its a service needed for the remote control of a Lifeview 3000 TV Card, if you not have a TV Card be carefull it probably be a virus, spyware, malware or some like that.

This file IS certainly the cause of 100% CPU usage on my machine, and comes with the Lifeview TV Capture card software. It can be temporarily romoved b th obvious course in Task Manager. It is an annoyance which is essentual if you want to use the remote aspect of the Lifeview card.
