Extensis software should need no network access (at least the Extensis software I use). I will be deleting this file. Rated at 4 due to non-disclosure of networked component, and apparent lack of need.

It is a part of Winamp & Itunes or any other music playing & sharing application. I used to think it only belonged to Apple until I had to reformat my PC and hadn't loaded Quicktime on it yet but yet it was there! It was because I had loaded Winamp already.

It looks, like it is installed with adobe acrobat update. Issues background request, which my firewall blocks successfully. Seems not to be needed for anything usefull, if you do not use apple muasic sharing. It will just consume bandwidth.
