Assuming you have installed Canopus ProCoder, this is not harmless. Its just annoying. In "C:\Program Files\Canopus\ProCoder 2\" run PNXMANGR.exe, open the Tools menu and uncheck "Start Kernel with Windows"

GJ is entirely coorect. The only drownback is it uses too much CPU. Not a problem on a fast/dedicated system. Can be disbled, ProCoder works as well but might take longer.

I have had many problems with it in the past. It came with the Canapus Procoder program but then started acting up. It slowed up my computer(s) by causing my hard drive to run at full speed all the time doing nothing. When I disabled it using taskmanager it froze my computer requiring a shutdown. I then uninstalled the Canopus program and it fixed the problem. In my opinion it is either something inherentlly wrong with the program or the program is being used by some malware. Likely the latter since it works fine for a long time and then becomes a huge problem after months of use.
